About
Software engineer & solo builder. Semarang, Indonesia.
Origin
10 years as a software engineer — mostly Ruby on Rails, full-stack. Building products for companies, shipping features, leading technical projects.
A few years ago I took a sabbatical — not because I burned out, but because I wanted to find out what I could build on my own terms. That was the start of GIZIPP Studios. The engineering background stayed — it just got pointed at my own projects.
The Philosophy
I've always been drawn to small things. Not because I lack ambition — but because I've found that starting small is actually how big things get done.
The principle I keep coming back to: small steps, simple execution, done seriously. Not a shortcut — a different kind of commitment. Lower the barrier to starting. Remove the pressure of needing everything to be big from day one.
This became the core of Tiny Financial Freedom — a book about building financial independence through small, sustainable steps rather than big bets. And it's become the way I run everything under GIZIPP Studios.
GIZIPP Studios
GIZIPP Studios is the room where I build things. It's not an agency. There's no team. It's one person — me — running multiple small experiments in parallel.
Right now that means: a web service for local businesses (WebCepat), a publishing service for indie authors (MekarPad), an ebook platform (MekarBooks), two music projects (boboring.club and Wren Idle), and 14+ books across 8 pen names on Amazon, Apple Books, and Kobo.
All of it from one desk. All started small.

The books are live and verifiable on Amazon. The pilot client for MekarPad (Cipta Prima Nusantara) has 2 titles in 9+ global retailers. I don't use "we" — everything here is built by me, for real.
What's Next
This is still an ongoing journey. I'm currently validating WebCepat with local clients in Semarang, growing MekarPad to international authors via Fiverr, and finishing the Club feature for MekarBooks.
I share the process openly — the good, the messy, the slow parts. If you want to follow along:
